  I went with the iO6, so far so good! I like that it does the spin and the vibrations. The Philips I had was the Diamond clean 9000, it lasted 2 years at the most i reckon.

  I've had a similar run except on mine the little cast shaft holder at the top actually broke. I repaired it with JB weld, but gave up on repairing it a second time when the lower mounting point came loose and it's a real shit to get to. Mine's about 10 years old though so happy enough with that run. Hot tip though: search for the handle on ebay. Seems to be plenty of the handles alone Philips sell through other commercial channels and end up on ebay cheap. I got a replacement 6100 handle, brand new for $60.
