  I have this model and it's such a wonderful workhorse. It's more than enough for everyday use and probably enough for a lot of heavier users too. The fact that it's fast, fanless and lasts pretty much all day makes it one of the best laptops I've ever had. That said, for such a small price difference, get the m5.

  Apple have changed it now they actually need you to be a student now even online you need to have proof. So no more getting cheap deals any more with eduation and not being a student which is ashame.
