  From memory the Pro 2 / 2000 models and above all have lithium-ion batteries, compared to the others which have NiMh batteries. I’d get the 2000, it’s the cheapest with lithium-ion battery and can be had for $50-$70 on sale

  Great price, i bought it for $50 from amazon a few months ago, and its a great little tooth brush. Very slow charging though

  Pretty sure charging speed is the same across all electric toothbrushes regardless of what cells they use. The main benefit with li-ion is they don’t discharge as quickly as NiMh when not in use. NiMh could be nearly fully depleted if left off charge for weeks, where as li-ion will retain most of its charge if left unused for months
