  TOZO PE1 is also $36 on Amazon - I replaced this Go speaker when it was stolen with one of these for the same price and loved it so much I bought a second that syncs up. Battery life is insanely long and I leave them outside as throw around speakers for yard work. Great value speaker that is highly rated in reviews and can’t beat IPX8.

  Smartphones have had water resistance with exposed ports for years, I'm sure this'll be fine. Just don't plug it in while there's moisture in the port.

  A phone speaker output is typically 1-2W. The JBL is 4.2W. the Tozo is 10W. This should give you an idea.
