Have you actually used them? The 3/8" ratchet is fine for heavy use. I've hammered mine for 3 years. eg Swapped out 2x transmissions and transfer cases with it and its still going strong. Can't say the same for the much more expensive AEG 12V 3/8" ratchet I had before this - it crapped out after a year.
