  I'm hoping for an EOFY deal on the HD 490 pros you mentioned. The comfort alone sounds great. I've been using the same pair of ATH AD700s since 2011 so I feel overdue for an upgrade.

  Unsure whether to wait for HD600 at a lower price possibly at EOFY, or hold out for a repeat of the AU Stock Hifiman XS at <$300, or consider something else!

  I won't choose Hifiman Ed XS even for 300 bucks, it doesn't mean the headset is bad, just because the AU price is 3~4 times more expensive than the CN price. In China, the price is just 150~190 AUD.
