BYD has opened pre-orders for the Atto 2 DM-i PHEV in Australia, priced from $24,990 drive-away (plus on-road costs). The base Essential trim uses a 7.85 kWh LFP 'Blade' battery with a claimed WLTP EV-only range, paired with a petrol engine for extended range. It is currently the most affordable PHEV available in Australia. Pricing is ex-factory; final on-road costs vary by state. Not available via cashback portals.
