Edge 50 has wireless charging, smaller, better camera, better screen, more storage. G86 is bigger and has a giant stonking battery, also stronger build quality (better water proofing). Hardware is basically the same underneath. So basically, do you drop, submerge, forget to charge or like a big phone to hit someone with? Go the G86. Otherwise the Neo seems to take the edge.

Also no micro sd on the neo. Useful nowadays that ADB is secured to get photos and other personal data off the device if it becomes damaged by water or screen broken. Had this happen to me with my previous Motorola phone and was unable to access anything because the screen was completely dead. ADB secured nowadays by default so couldn't turn it on to access files via USB. Luckily everything important was unencrypted and on the microSD. Probably doesn't matter as much for a really expensive phone because you'll have iCloud or it will be worth paying for a screen replacement, but for the mid to low range it's nice to have the option to fix or get a replacement. I fixed it myself eventually with AliExpress parts and bought an upgraded phone, but if my data was on the nand I'd have had to pay someone to fix it.

Motorola’s range is hard to recommend when Pixel phones often drop into similar price brackets. Most Moto devices also tend to have relatively low Geekbench scores compared to the competition, and their software support is generally shorter and less consistent.
