  About as cheap as HOKA gets 👍 They're just not my type of shoe, they are big and heavy for running at a decent clip. I wouldn't mind going through a pair of Bondi's for long runs exclusively. Note, these HOKA types are not the "mainstream" ones most runners use (e.g. Clifton, Bondi, Mach). Rincon is more of a lower stack responsive all-rounder (so a decent sub for a Clifton), whereas Solimar is definitely a budget version of their premium line. If you haven't used HOKA yet, I'd look at Saucony or NB instead, imo, they are a runner's runners, and you can catch deeper discounts too.

  They’re a different style of ride compared to the ASICS Kayano or Nimbus. Kayanos are more stability-focused, Nimbus is super plush and soft, while these HOKAs lean more towards max cushioning and comfort for everyday runs/walking. Really comes down to the feel you personally prefer

  Appreciate the detailed insight 👍 Definitely agree it comes down to personal preference and what you’re using them for. The good thing is there are solid options now across HOKA, Saucony, NB and ASICS depending on whether you want softer cushioning, responsiveness or value!
