  But are you saying this one does include Ultimate Her variable load? If so, it would be nice not having to go through a bunch of smaller gift cards.

  Pretty much every single Coles store I have ever been to has a dedicated gift card shelf at the end of one of the aisles within the store, and it will look a little something like the gift card shelf pictured on GCDB. To purchase gift cards, you grab the gift card(s) you want from the gift card shelf and purchase them at a checkout by scanning the long activation barcode printed on the back of the gift card. Gift cards can be purchased at both standard checkouts and self checkouts at Coles, but keep in mind the following: Coles' policy is to only allow customers to purchase a maximum of five gift cards. There should be signs at the top of the gift card shelf advertising this policy, and the checkouts will prevent you from purchasing more than five gift cards in one transaction. You could try to get around this by purchase more gift cards in a separate transaction(s) at the same store, but considering purchases of gift cards at Coles pretty much always require staff approval, it will depend on whether staff will let you do this. Another workaround is to make a purchase at a different Coles store, but that assumes there is another Coles store near you! If you are at a self checkout, you cannot use multiple payment methods to pay for gift cards (unless you pay in cash first and then use one payment card - e.g. credit card, debit card - to pay the remaining amount owed). If you are at a standard checkout, you can use multiple payment methods to pay for the gift cards, but this is at the discretion of the staff member operating the checkout. Additionally, depending on the Coles store(s) you visit, some (or even all) of the gift cards on sale may be out of stock by the time you get there, because percentage discount deals tend to be more popular than deals requiring Flybuys cards, plus there is limited space on the gift card shelf to hang gift cards. You can ask staff - particularly at the service desk - whether there are any more gift cards in storage, but in my experience, staff at the service desk are usually uninterested in helping.
