Just be aware this does not have full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports so if you are looking for that this isnt the AVR for you.

Note the HDMI 2.1 ports are 24Gbps not the full spec 40. You’ll want to plug game consoles or PC into your TV and use sound via eArc if you’re playing at over 60Hz. Otherwise good receiver.

No. 7.1 receivers cost more than what you've allocated. You will need to settle for less if you're looking for new and less than 800. Maybe Denon AVR-X580BT for $100 less (only 5.1) Edit: Another budget option is the Yamaha RX-V385 at $488. Again, 5.1

You sure that's an issue with the receiver? It can be but that would be a faulty receiver… Most common cause of this is either a ground loop or your cable picking up emi. Do you have a shielded cable?
