ToolPRO with lifetime warranty seems better to me over an unknown brand. I have ToolPRO and they are decent for the price.

Best thing is to look for a lifetime warranty to start with. For the ratchets, there is a big difference between a cheap set and a good quality set. Look for something that has around 90 teeth, which this one does have. It isn't a guarantee that it'll be great quality, but it's a start. To be honest, really the only way is to actually have a look at them in person or rely on a well-known and trusted brand. The things that put me off though are the hex key sets which look like a throw in. They look pretty cheap and you tend not to get high-end kits with sets like these in them. Also throwing in all the bit sets is a sign of padding. Still, I reckon it looks like pretty good value.

Is this a well-known brand? Ignoring the questionable RRP, $238 is not chum change and at this price why wouldn’t you get something from the likes of toolPro, Repco or Bahco?
