Cheers, had thought of that, but as annoying as the price drop is, it's not worth the stuffing around and the time to do it.

If you have onepass and you do get to Bunnings every now and then you could get the new one delivered for free and bring it back on the old receipt up to 365 days later. 23% discount isn't huge, but that'll probably pay for a loaf of bread and a carton of milk at colesworths /s

I had seen the Mistral one on the website but decided on the Ryobi for the 6 yr warranty, the replaceable battery and the free delivery. The Mistral is in store only where I live. Using a drill works, but they almost all spin too fast even on low speed, meaning you are constantly using part trigger to slow it down to avoid fling off, which gets old quickly. Plus most drill are not waterproof. This spins at 400rpm on high and at that speed with the supplied 90mm brushes, it is borderline starting to get fling off. And drill don't have a long handle:)

i don't have the larger one but the reviews on Bunnings are good. 4.4 stars from 558 reviews I didn't buy that one as I always thought it was too large for my needs.

I have the handheld version of the 18v one, I'd say it's ok. It's limited by only one speed and one direction, and no corner brush attachments come standard from Ryobi (easy to mock something up with a 3D printer). Better than attaching the head to a drill and trying to manage ridiculous RPMs and hold the trigger down Good enough that I wanted to buy the long handled one but not at $200 skin only, so I paid $400 instead for an EZ-Reach gutter blower and the gutter brush attachment head. It uses the same triangle shape as the power scrubbers so you can attach the heads, but the depths are slightly off so you need to shim the scrubber head for a tight fit. It's too long this way for general household cleaning, but good for exterior walls and such The actual power scrubbers though are completely waterproof, my hacked solution isn't, but I can clean a heck of a lot higher
