  Great app. I love it. I have the same issue of remembering birthdays so I'm going to use this. I am happy to buy later when the freebie is finished. Are you still developing it? If so, here is a few wishlist items. Ability to put in an age (or dob year) for birthday reminders that go up every year. I struggle to remember how old all my nieces and nephews are. A push notifications on the day and x time before - maybe a month prior. I need a buffer time reminder so I can get presents but also on the day to ensure I give them a call. If I think of more as I use it I'll let you know but understand the aim for minimalist. Again, great app and appreciative of your work here.

  Really appreciate this, thank you. And yes, definitely still developing it. I intentionally kept the first version minimal so I could validate whether people connected with the core idea first. The Age/DOB idea is genuinely interesting and fits nicely with the “meaningful moments” direction. The reminder buffer idea also makes a lot of sense too. I’ve had the same problem myself, so I’ll add both to the to-do list. Thanks again for taking the time to write this up. Feedback like this is incredibly helpful early on.

  Early Christians didn't celebrate birthdays either, Pagan/ magic roots I think. JW's still have parties and get togethers for their children at other times though. Same with Easter, no Christian roots just incorporated previous Greek/ Roman gods into the celebration period to appease the masses.

  Why is it sad? You can still have a lot of fun, presents and parties without celebrating and glorifying yourself. There are lots of "customs" that 99% of the masses/ sheeple partake in and never think to ask "why do we do this?"
