  if you buy a prebuilt from PCCG or wherever you're getting a tray CPU. There's zero difference between them except one comes with a box

  Worth paying the extra $89 for warranty from local seller with a ABN in case of failure, Computer Alliance provide a 3 year warranty but I'm sure you can argue for a longer warranty period under ACL. 3 Years seems a bit short of a lifespan for a CPU. You can also do TRS too if you are traveling overseas in the next 60 days.

  I would say ACL will cover you. I think CA will address if there is any issue with the unit. It's a local shop.
